Our items are printed on demand, one by one, just for you. Even so, as an EU consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on our standard designs. The steps below explain how it works.
1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you, or someone you name, receive the item, without giving a reason. If your order arrives in several parcels, the 14 days run from receipt of the last parcel.
How to withdraw
Tell us before the 14-day period ends, using one of these methods:
- Online withdrawal button. Click Withdraw from contract here. Fill in your name, order number and email, then confirm. We will send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email straight away.
- Email. Send a clear statement to contact@mildchaosclub.com. You can use the model form below, but you don’t have to.
Return the item
Send the item back within 14 days of telling us to:

Return shipping is paid by you. As an indication, a tracked parcel from another EU country to France usually costs about €8–15.
Please return items unworn, unwashed, with labels attached where possible. You may handle the item as you would in a shop to check size and fit. If the item has lost value because of handling beyond that (for example it has been worn, washed or damaged), we may deduct that loss of value from your refund.
Your refund
We refund all payments received from you, including the original standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal.
- We may wait to refund you until we have received the item back, or until you send proof of shipment, whichever comes first.
- We refund using the same payment method you used, unless you agree to another one. You will not pay any fee for the refund.
- If you chose a delivery method more expensive than our cheapest standard option, we refund only the cost of the standard option.
2. Personalised items: no withdrawal
Items made to your own specifications or clearly personalised cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal (Article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code). This covers, for example, a name, text or image that you supplied yourself. Your legal guarantee of conformity still applies to these items.
3. Damaged, defective or wrong item
If your item arrives damaged, misprinted, defective or is not what you ordered, contact us at contact@mildchaosclub.com as soon as possible, ideally within 30 days, and include:
- your order number
- clear photos of the item and the problem
- a photo of the shipping label
We will send you a free replacement or a full refund, at your choice where possible, and you will not have to pay any return cost. In many cases, you will not need to send the item back at all.
This does not limit your 2-year legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code), which applies in all cases.
4. Exchanges
Because each item is made to order, we cannot do direct size exchanges. To change a size, return the item under the right of withdrawal and place a new order.
5. Order changes and cancellations
Production usually starts within 24 hours. If you need to change or cancel an order, email us as soon as possible. If production has not yet started, we will cancel it and refund you in full. Once production has started, your right of withdrawal applies as described above.
